I am afraid there will be some delay in producing any more LP rips due to the health of my life's partner,
She needs nursing care now, until the end of her life so I will not have much time to process material, however I will read mail from time to time and try to respond to comments.
Thank you for your patience.
Update 9 Jan 2012
I am sad at heart to inform all my loyal followers
that my partner died suddenly in hospital after an emergency admission. I have so much to do now, after this is all over I need a break, a holiday away from here to re-charge the mental battery after all the recent stress, however, fear not I am internet mobile, so will be keeping an eye on the blog from around the World, all is NOT lost.
I assure you, your comments and sympathy are all very much appreciated... I'll be back at normal pace with luck by the middle of 2012, meanwhile I am here intermittently dealing with the upkeep of mail.

Wishing you and your loved one well. Your friends out here in the ether are thinking of you.
Fully understood and your partner is the one who needs you now. I hope that things go in the easiest possible way for you both and even if you never have the chance to return to the work of this blog, know that you've done sterling work in bringing this music back into circulation.
Dear Gonzo--So Sad to learn of your situation. I hope this last journey of your partner is peaceful. The music can wait. Attend to your and your partner's needs. Thanks for all the pleasure you have brought people like me.
Thanks !!
I never expected such sympathetic responses, I am truly thankful for them all, it helps to know my small efforts have been appreciated.
There have been three major interests in my life, Family, Music and Electronics, it seems although I will still have my family of course, the creator of them is to be taken from me by one of the most aggressive forms of Cancer, a year since it was first discovered, two fairly major operations, and radio therapy has delayed the ultimate end up until now when it seems they can do no more for her but keep her comfortable for as long as possible.
In order for our experiences to benefit others, full medical details are being retained in an effort to make more medical staff aware of this killer, "Merkel Cell Cancer" If you for a moment suspect you or a partner-Friend might to suffer from this, I urge you to use the power of GOOGLE and do your research, there is NO TIME TO LOSE. Discovered possible three months earlier this killer might have been contained, know WHAT TO LOOK FOR, it is vital.. NEVER IGNORE anything that looks odd.
I'll get back here now and again, I have a lot to do music wise, what I can do will help me cope with this event, so please keep looking in when you can.
Gonz.

Nothing is more important than looking after those who need looking after, be they family or friends.
I'm sure that everyone who reads this blog understands your situation, some (like myself) better than others.
Take care and smile every now and then. :-)

Dear Gonzo, so sorry to hear of your partners illness and the not so encouraging prognosis, my thoughts go out to both of you in this very difficult time. Although it doesnt seem the right time or appropriate in the circumstances. I would like to thank you for all your efforts and the musical pleasure you have brought me and my friend who is a big folk music fan for all these long lost recordings you have made available, your considerable efforts have not gone un noticed, so if there are no more than thank you for all you have done. But of course the most important thing is the time you have left with your partner who i hope does not suffer during the time she has left. God bless to you both.
Shocked and saddened to hear the very sad news, my sincere condolances and sympathy go to you and your family at this very difficlt time.
Deepest sympathy and condolences for you and your family following this sad loss.
So sorry to hear of your loss. I think when you reflect back at some point in the future you will find solace in the fact that her final journey was not too long or painful for either of you. My thoughts are with you.

I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. I hope it may be some small consolation to know that you have many friends all over the world. Your kindness and hard work in sharing your music has been greatly appreciated but now you need to look after yourself for a while.
Take care, my friend.
Sorry to learn of the death of your partner. Do what you need to recharge yourself and to get on with your life as well as you can. Take what solace you can in having a life partner and to enjoy your other loves as much as possible.
